ABOUT ME
Hello, I'm Hannah
I am currently studying BSc (Hons) Physical Geography at the University of Reading, following my A Levels at Malvern St James School in Geography, Food and Nutrition, and Business Studies. Alongside this, I achieved a Leiths CTH Level 3 Extended Certificate in Professional Cookery (High Merit).
At GCSE level, I achieved grade 6s across all subjects, including English Language, English Literature, Maths, Double Science, Geography, Drama, and Food and Nutrition, demonstrating a strong and well-rounded academic foundation.
I have been riding since the age of five and have competed at an advanced level in dressage for several years, leading to my selection to represent Great Britain internationally in 2025. This has required daily commitment, resilience, and the ability to stay focused over long periods of time.
During my time at school, I was appointed Riding Ambassador, where I worked closely with staff and students to organise events. This role developed my ability to coordinate tasks, take initiative, and contribute to a wider team.
At university, I play rugby for the University of Reading, training regularly and progressing towards a competitive level. This has strengthened my ability to collaborate effectively and remain calm in demanding situations.
I also enjoy independent challenges, such as completing a five-day unguided walking trip in the Dolomites using navigation skills. This experience developed my confidence, problem-solving ability, and independence.
In addition, I am confident using Microsoft Suite and GIS software, hold a food hygiene certificate, and have a full clean UK driving licence.
I am known for being dependable, motivated, and approachable, with a positive attitude and the ability to adapt quickly to new environments.
